Alaska Highpoint - Denali - 20310 ft

In Sep 2015, the USGS reported an improved measurement of the height of Denali's summit as 20310 feet. This is just 10 feet shorter than the value of 20320 feet that had been used from 1952 until 2013, and is higher than a corrected value of 20237 reported in Sep 2013. At about the same time, the official name of the peak has been changed to Denali, as it should be. USGS News Release
