84 - Polonium

A thin film of polonium on a stainless-steel disk, the form in which it is sold as an alpha-particle source for scientific use.

This anti-static brush contains 250 microcuries of polonium-210.

Firestone, from 1940 to at least 1946, produced spark plugs with polonium in the electrode.
The ionization of the air caused by the radiation was supposed to make the plugs more effective.
